The singular name of "Eremo" or Hermitage, given by Prof. L. Pirelli to this building, was kept by Vocationist Fathers it was donated to.
Now completely renewed, it is turned into the touristic reception.
Set above the centre of Varenna, surrounded by woods, it has a mild climate and a beautiful position overlooking the centre of the Lake of Como.
You can reach it just on foot or by a panoramic external lift.
The Hermitage is the ideal place to relax and can be used also as base for a lot of excursions.
Provided with: private parking, lifts, excursions office, panoramic terrace, wide garden, private chapel, shuttle service.
Rooms: 12 rooms all with lake view, some with balcony or private terrace, agreeably and functionally furnished, with private bathroom, telephone and TV.
Gate Lodge: single or double rooms all with lake view, simply furnished, with private bathroom, telephone and TV . Connected to the main buiding by external lift.
