From Milano Malpensa or Milano Linate: if you want you can rent a taxi or a car and follow the direction for Como and continue to Lecco. When you arrive at Lecco follow signs for Valtellina, direction Sondrio, take the main road s.s. 36, exit Bellano and came back to Varenna. If you take provincial road S.P 72 you will arrive directly to Varenna. If you want to go by train you have to go to Central Station of Milano and take a train to Sondrio,you will arrive at Varenna in about an hour.
